Egg Salad Stuffed Avocado
I love recipe mashups. And this is definitely one of them. Whether you need a quick lunchtime recipe or a snack that will keep you full until dinner, this egg salad stuffed avocado will do the trick.
Egg salad is an easy, high protein recipe you can whip up. But if you're strict paleo, you've got to use the right kind of mayo. Traditional mayonnaise, like the Hellmann's you can find in the store, is far from having the best ingredients. In fact, its primary ingredient is soybean oil.
Since paleo stays away from all things soy, that is off the table. But don't worry, you can make your very own paleo mayo at home. And it's actually ...

Olive Tapenade
This olive tapenade is perfect for anyone who loves olives. It's insanely simple but packed full of flavor thanks to salty olives, fresh garlic, capers, parsley, and lemon juice. And it's paleo AND keto-friendly!
Sounds pretty great, right?
Tapenade originally comes from southeastern France where it was traditionally eaten on top of bread or poultry.
Nowadays, you might find tapenade at your local French restaurant or maybe at a friend's house party. And as fancy as it seems, it really couldn't be easier.
All you need to do is throw the ingredients into a food processor and pulse a few times until you reach your desired ...

TACO TUESDAY - but make it breakfast.
This taco scramble does just that. It turns your favorite Mexican food in to a breakfast dish (or lunch or dinner...no judgement) sans tortilla and chips.
With eggs and ground beef, this scramble is loaded down with protein. Protein is great for keeping you full and satiated as well as helping you build muscle.
It's important to make sure you're eating enough protein every day, and this recipe will help you hit your goal.
The great thing about tacos is that you can top them with all your favorite things. This scramble is no different. Personally, I like diced tomatoes, cilantro, ...

Our Top 10 Easy Almond Flour Recipes
If you follow a paleo diet, but you love baked goods, chances are you're somewhat familiar with almond flour. For people like yourself, almond flour recipes are somewhat of a saving grace.
This nutrient-packed, gluten-free flour allows us to have our (paleo) cake and eat it too. But let's be honest, the stuff isn't cheap (compared to regular old flour that you can find in the baking aisle) and there's a learning curve to be able to bake with it.
Thankfully, there are a lot of people on the internet who want you to be able to whip up delicious foods with almond flour - while taking the difficulty out of it. Seriously - if you google ...

Baked Apples
These paleo-friendly baked apples are the perfect dessert as we move towards fall. Once apple season strikes, you'll be craving these in your dessert rotation.
The great thing about this recipe is that it utilizes minimal ingredients. That's one part of paleo I really try to hammer home because I know how frustrating it can be to be excited about a recipe only to realize you have to go to the store and buy 50 new ingredients that you don't regularly keep stocked in your pantry.
It's why I created Ultimate Meal Plans. One of the cornerstones of my meal plans service is that every recipe you get takes 5 ingredients or less and comes ...

Guacamole Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are the ultimate potluck food. I can't think of one family gathering that involved food that I've been to that hasn't included these delicacies. They're usually made by my grandma - and they are THE best.
But, unfortunately, for our paleo or dairy-free friends, deviled eggs are off the menu. Such a shame because they are so dang delicious, in my opinion.
Here's some good news for the day though - you don't have to miss out on deviled eggs if you follow this recipe.
Instead of using the egg yolk and mayo, this version uses creamy avocado and tomato and onion to spice it up. It's a little like a Mexican spin on the ...

Salmon Kale Salad
Salmon + kale is a match made in heaven. Don't believe me? Just wait until you try this salmon kale salad.
You pretty much can't go wrong with a good piece of salmon. As always, we recommend wild caught salmon. Of course, this isn't a deal breaker if you can't find wild caught, or if the price tag is a little too high.
There's some evidence that shows that farm-raised *may* actually be higher in omega-3 fatty acids due to the feed the fish are fed. But often, this type of fish contains more contaminants or even disease.
Because of this, we stick to our recommendation that wild caught is best if possible.
But let's get back to ...

Berry Chia Smoothie Bowl
If I'm being honest with you, I'm not a huge fan of smoothies. But when the hot days of summer roll around, I like to whip one up every now and then. And this smoothie bowl is usually my go to.
Summer is the absolute best time to take advantage of the deliciousness of berries. They are in season and abundant and they taste better than ever. If you are able, try to hit up a berry patch and pick them until your heart is content. Then you can freeze them and they'll be available for you to use in your smoothies for months to come.
This recipe calls for frozen berries, but if you have berries in your fridge that you need to use up, those ...
