As you know, a picture is worth a thousand words and these days, maybe even thousands of ‘likes’.
Instagram has not only allowed us to take a glimpse into every day life of your friends, but also even your ex-boyfriend’s cousin’s French Bulldog named ‘Edwin’.
With that being said, the majority of people on social media want to put their best face forward when it comes to their fitness, free time and finally (my personal favorite) food.
For those who would rather contribute to a feed full of desserts, smoothies and tasty dishes instead of Insta- models or The Kardashian’s, keep on reading!

Funky Farmer’s Market Finds
In my opinion, we are in the midst of a food revolution. We, as a society, are making our way back to valuing the way we eat; locally-grown and seasonal foods that nourish our minds, bodies and the environment are at the top of many people’s priority list.
And what better way to support this revolution than by
becoming a frequent visitor of your local farmer’s market! All over the
country, farmer’s markets offer communities easy and accessible ways to
purchase fresh, local food.
And that’s AWESOME.
But if you’re a farmer’s market junkie like me, I’m sure there’s been a time when you’ve been scoping out the vegetables and there’s ...

Paleo Recipes For Your Kwanzaa Celebration
I'll be honest with you. I did not know much about Kwanzaa until I started researching for this article. I, of course, had heard of it - but I really knew nothing of its history, practices, or traditions.
It's a little embarrassing to admit that to the internet, but it's an honest statement.
Learning about Kwanzaa has been eye-opening. If you're unfamiliar with Kwanzaa, I hope what I share with you about this holiday takes you on a similar journey.
I think it's vital to learn about cultures outside of our own. Our cultural differences make us beautiful and unique and I also think bring us closer to humanity.

Congratulations To Primal Kitchen!
Congrats to our friends over at Primal Kitchen!
On November 29th, the Kraft Heinz Company agreed to aquire Primal Kitchen for $200 million - a deal to be completed in early 2019. As I’m sure you know, Kraft Heinz is famous for its ketchup and various condiments. They also own Miracle Whip.
This move by Kraft Heinz to buy Primal Kitchen can be seen as a way for the company to compete with society’s demand to have high-quality products with safe ingredients on store shelves.
It’s about time this all went mainstream, am I right?
Primal Kitchen was founded by our good friend Mark Sisson who started the Primal Kitchen blog over a ...

FYI: Natural Calm
Let's be honest - in today's world, a supplement called Natural Calm sounds more than necessary. Between stressful jobs, a stressful political environment, stressful financial situations, and more, we could all use a little more "calm" in our lives.

Natural Calm can help, though, and can be a useful tool in that holistic approach.
