Simple Spicy Sweet Potatoes
Potatoes can be a controversial item in the Paleo diet community. Obviously they grow naturally and have no other ingredients, but they also can be a bit high on the glycemic index and lead to the blood sugar spike that is typically avoided with the Paleo diet. But of all potatoes, the sweet potato seems to get the green light more than others. So if you include sweet potatoes within your Paleo food parameters, enjoy the simply spicy recipe below.
Simple Spicy Sweet Potatoes
1 Sweet potato ((large, peeled and cubed))1 tbs Coconut oil1 tsp Cayenne pepper1/2 tsp Paprika1/4 tsp Black pepper

Plum Pork Chops
Pork chops + plum. Sounds great right? Well, it gets a little messy. I'll tell you right now, the plum will not chop up into pretty little pieces. It's going to end up more like mashed plum and that's just fine. Add more cinnamon if that flavor appeals to you - it can be a nice compliment to the sweetness of the plum and pineapple juice.
Plum Pork Chops
4 Boneless pork chops1 Plum ((pitted and chopped))3 tbs Balsamic vinegar2 tbs Pineapple juice1 tbs olive oil1/2 Shallot ((minced))2 cloves garlic ((minced))1 tsp Cinnamon
In a sauce pot, heat oil over high heat and add garlic, shallots, and plum. Saute ...

Great Goulash
Goulash is a traditional Hungarian dish that is usually served with egg noodles. But as much as we love eggs, we don't do noodles around here (so go with a veggie side instead). Goulash also usually has a thicker texture than what this recipe will produce due to the exclusion of cornstarch or flour. But don't worry – the flavor is still there! If you can find Hungarian sweet paprika, be sure to use it but you can just use the stuff at your local grocery store too.
Great Goulash
2 lbs Stew meat ((Go for either beef or buffalo. Hell use venison if you’re the huntin’ type.))1 yellow onion ((large, ...

Pineapple Ginger Paleo Pot Roast
Cooking with a crock pot is so simple. Just throw the ingredients into the pot, set the cooking level (I almost always use "low"), and then wait. Sometimes the waiting is the hardest part, especially with this delicious version of paleo pot roast. The pineapple does not over power with sweetness and if you like ginger, don't be afraid to increase the amount listed below. The long cooking time makes all of the flavors subtle and the meat finishes pull-apart-tender and juicy. Yum.
