Choose a nice relaxing Sunday, so that you can enjoy the smells that waft through the house, as it takes its time to simmer. There are two secrets to making this Hamburger Steaks with Stroganoff Gravy recipe incredible: apple cider vinegar and arrowroot powder. The apple cider vinegar provides a tangy buttermilk flavor that is usually associated with heavy cream and cooking sherry. The arrowroot powder thickens the gravy and makes it, well, more gravy-like and extra delicious! This would also go wonderfully with a fresh chopped spinach salad and a rosemary vinaigrette.
