Christmastime is my absolute favorite holiday season. Trader Joe’s is my absolute favorite grocery store. Put them together and I’m pretty much in heaven. That’s why our blog post today is covering my favorite Trader Joe Christmas Must-Haves.
If you’re lucky enough to have a Trader Joe’s where you live, give a little bit of thanks. That store is AMAZING. And once the fall-winter season rolls around, I really don’t want to shop anywhere else. They have such amazing season offerings.
Now, full disclosure – I’m writing this article a few months before Christmas. SO – I can’t fully guarantee that all of these products are still offered by Trader Joe’s. But I tried to choose some tried-and-true favorites to help you narrow down your Christmas list.
My favorite Trader Joe’s Christmas products
Not all of these products are paleo – or even low carb. Take what serves you in this article and leave the rest! That’s it. We have readers of all diet-types (or no diet) that read this blog. I wanted to provide a large range of products and share some of my absolute favorites.
Gluten-free Pie Crust
Pie is one of the best parts of the holiday season. If you’re gluten-free, it can be a bummer to watch all of your loved ones eat pie til their heart’s content and have to miss out on that deliciousness because of the gluten-laden pie crust. Trader Joe’s has solved this problem with their pre-made gluten-free pie crust. Make your own dang pie this year so you don’t have to miss out!
Gingerbread Coffee
Even your coffee should be celebrating the festive winter season! Do just that with this warm and spicy gingerbread coffee. This is a medium-dark roast with notes of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice, and of course, ginger.
Riced Cauliflower Stuffing
No breadcrumbs, no problem. Trader Joe’s riced cauliflower stuffing has all the goodness of traditional stuffing with a low-carb twist. Cauliflower, carrots, cranberries, leeks, onion, celery, and herbs all combine to make the perfect side dish to your holiday feast.
Egg Nog Whole Milk Greek Yogurt
It’s not Christmas for me without a good dose of egg nog. This whole milk Greek yogurt is a fun spin on a traditional Christmas-y flavor. And bonus – you’ll get 11 grams of protein per serving!
Winter Wassail
A spicy, yummy winter concoction that will make you want to do all the festive things of the season. We like this option because it’s made with real sugar, fruit juice concentrates, and spices. You can drink it hot, cold, or mixed with red wine in a steaming, hot mug.
Italian Nocellara Organic Olives
The holidays mean holiday parties are abundant. And my favorite thing to bring to a holiday party is a charcuterie board. No charcuterie board is complete without some big, juicy olives. These olives do just the trick.
Organic Maple Syrup Gift Set
You can find some great gift sets at Trader Joe’s! One of my favorites is the organic maple syrup gift set. Your loved ones deserve the goodness of real maple syrup. This set features a set of four varieties – all with different flavor profiles. Perfect for pancakes, waffles, or whatever may need a little sweetness.
Holiday Scented Candles
I love decorating for the holiday season. Truth be told, I would start in November if my partner would let me 🙂 A big part of my decorating routine is scents. And I love the holiday scented candles you can find at Trader Joe’s. They smell delightful and are affordable! The gingerbread scent is a favorite of mine.
Pet Advent Calendars
Last but not least, don’t forget your beloved cat or dog! These fun advent calendars will help you count down the days to Christmas and give your kitty or pup a treat along the way.
