Spiced apple pear sauce – yum! Have you ever thought about how versatile apple sauce is? I honestly hadn’t – until I was writing up this little article right now. You can have it for breakfast, lunch, as a dessert, as a side dish to dinner, as a little snack when you’re hungry.
It will basically hit the spot any time of the day – but I didn’t even realize it until now. Guess what will be making an appearance in my meal prep routine in the coming weeks!
As if apple sauce wasn’t already a win, this recipe manages to make it EVEN better. Adding pear gives apple sauce a fun little twist. Add some warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg – delish. And whipping it all together in the slow cooker is the cherry on top.
This would also be a great dish to include in your upcoming holiday parties. Your loved ones will love you for it.
