Calories 485 kcal
Ingredients
- 1 c Coconut milk
- 2 tbsp Dark chocolate cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- Stevia (to taste)
Instructions
-
Combine powdered chocolate and coconut milk in a blender.
-
Put chocolate milk mixture into a small saucepan and heat to desired temp.
-
For additional sweetness, add a dash of Stevia. Coffee lovers might consider drinking the unsweetened cocoa as a coffee substitute because the dark chocolate has that nice “bite”.
-
Garnish with cinnamon, dash of vanilla extract, or cayenne if you’d like a Mayan Hot Cocoa.
Recipe Notes
Bear in mind that the cocoa is quite rich and that one cup is quite filling.
