These paleo chocolate walnut date balls are going to be a new favorite. Sometimes you just want something sweet. A candy bar is the last thing you want to reach for though.
These balls offer much more nutrition than your standard candy bar. Chewy, sweet dates add fiber and sweetness to these easy to make snacks. They make a great quick snack or perfect bite sized dessert when you want something sweet but don’t want to overdo it.
All you need to make these treats is a food processor and a refrigerator. Keep these balls in an airtight container in the fridge to have an easy grab-and-go snack throughout busy weeks.

Chocolate Walnut Date Balls

Ingredients
- 1 cup Walnuts
- 12 Dates pitted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder plus additional for dusting
Instructions

Put all of the ingredients in a food processor and process until thick and smooth. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Form the mixture into 2 inch balls and roll in cocoa. Lay on the parchment paper. Chill for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
