This simple dessert has it all. Sweet and salty flavors collide in these Chocolate Almond Pistachio Bites. Incredibly easy to make, you can store the bites in the freezer to have ready to go for when dessert rolls around. Almonds and maple syrup provide the sweet and salty base. This uncomplicated dessert is slightly addictive and will have you coming back for more.
Chocolate Almond Pistachio Bites

Ingredients
- 1 cup Almonds
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- Sea salt
- 3 oz Dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp Pistachios 9(shelled and chopped)
Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Heat the syrup in a saucepan over low heat.

Stir in the almond extract, a pinch of salt, and the almonds.

Use a spoon to place the almonds onto the baking sheet in clusters of 5 or 6.

Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to harden.

Meanwhile, place the dark chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave.

Take the almonds out of the freezer and drizzle with chocolate.

Top with the chopped pistachios and a pinch of salt.

Place the baking sheet back into the freezer for another hour to cool.

Serve chilled.
