Cabbage vegetable soup just speaks for its name. Cabbage, vegetable, and soup? That’s a healthy bunch of ingredients. In this cuisine, you will learn how to prepare it for yourself.
Before we talk about the details of how to do the process, let me inform you the good things this cuisine will give you. The ingredients of this cuisine is bone broth, white onion, cabbage, carrots, spinach, garlic, coconut oil, salt and pepper, and bay leaf. With all these mentioned ingredients, it is undeniable that this is a healthy bunch! Cabbage offers a high amount of Vitamin K which plays a key role in helping the blood clot, preventing excessive bleeding, Vitamin C that boosts your immune system for greater disease defense, and, of course, the fiber to keep that body shape. Spinach, which is a super food, gives also almost the same nutrients with cabbage plus some enormous more like Vitamin E, B Vitamins, and protein (Yes. Protein!). No wonder why Popeye has to be with spinach to kick Bluto off.
Now, let’s get down to business. To prepare a cabbage vegetable soup cuisine, Add coconut oil and minced garlic to soup pot. Warm it until it becomes fragrant After that, add the bone broth to the soup pot and turn up the heat to bring the soup to a slight simmer. Then, add cabbage, onions, carrots, and bay leaf. Simmer it then for 20 minutes. Once the onions, cabbage, and carrots are fully cooked but not mushy, add in the spinach. Simmer 5 minutes longer. Lastly, taste test the soup and add some salt and pepper. Remember, the bone broth has not been salted, so you might want to be generous with the salt. You can then serve it with a paleo approved hot sauce – depends on your preference.
With this vegetable soup, you can pretend you’re eating real noodles, if you miss that kind of thing. Otherwise, enjoy the delicious taste and fill your belly up with warmth and good, natural food.
