Now the thing is, what makes this tuna lettuce wrap healthier compared to other commercial sandwiches? The answer? Simply because it is tuna! And good news, it is also paleo! Studies show that tuna fish has a significant impact on heart health. Tuna is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which is very good for the heart. Taking in the right amount of omega-3 reduces the risk of having coronary heart disease which is also linked to cardiovascular disease that is said to be the number one leading cause of death around the world. Inflammation in the body can damage blood vessels and can lead to heart disease and stroke. Omega-3 fatty acids has a natural anti-inflammatory effect that can lower your risk of having heart diseases and stroke.
