Kobe Bryant is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and, after going straight into the NBA from high school, he’s won five NBA championships.
Does Kobe Bryant Eat Paleo?
The Los Angeles Lakers have become fans of low-sugar and high-fat diets. Many of them are eating a diet similar to the paleo diet, which favors grass-fed meat over meat that comes from grain-fed animals, and that avoids carbs and processed food.
Kobe Bryant was one of the first players to get on board with the eating plan because, as one of the older players, he’s aware that nutrition can give him the edge against some of the younger players. Kobe has reported feeling much better since adopting the diet.
“It’s a different philosophy,” Kobe has said. “It’s something that we all had to adjust to, but we trust Dr. Cate implicitly. I’ve seen great results from it from when I started doing it last year — watching your sugar intake, making sure you’re eating healthy fats. You’ve got to find a balance in that system. It’s worked well for me.”
