Chocolate almond butter pancake is a cuisine that is gift from heaven! The chocolatey goodness and pancakes just really go well with each other. Who doesn’t love chocolate anyways? Now that it is coming with pancakes, that is an another experience.
The ingredients to make this paleo pancakes are coconut flour, baking soda, cocao powder, salt, eggs, vanilla extract, almond milk, honey, almond butter, and ghee of coconut oil. Coconut flour is high in fiber, protein, and healthy fats and is free from wheat and other grains. It is also low in sugar, digestible carbohydrates and calories, and has a low score on the glycemic index. This is good because that’s the principle under the paleo diet – disengaging with the harmful sugar, digestible carbohydrates and calories.
Cacao powder, the primary ingredient to give us the chocolate taste, has the mood-enhancing compound called PEA or phenethylamine, which triggers the release of endorphins and pleasurable opium-like neurochemicals. These often release naturally when we fall in love and during sexual activity. This is why everybody loves chocolate!
To prepare this cuisine, first whisk together the coconut flour, coco powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Then, add the eggs, vanilla extract, almond milk, honey, and almond butter. Mix together until ingredients are well incorporated. Meanwhile, heat some ghee or coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Spoon ¼ cup of the batter into the pan. Then, cook it for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter. Finally, Serve with a little almond butter spread on top.

- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- pinch Salt
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Almond Butter (plus more for serving)
- Ghee of coconut oil (for the pan)
Instructions

In a large bowl whisk together the coconut flour, coco powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract, almond milk, honey, and almond butter. Mix together until ingredients are well incorporated.
