You know my love for the grill year-round. But that love gets even bigger in the summertime. These Balsamic Marinated Pork Chops will help you up your grill game.
The key to these delicious pork chops is to make sure you marinate them long enough. Aim for at least two hours, but if you can – aim for overnight. I like marinating mine in a glass container, ensuring that the marinade completely covers the meat. When marinating, be sure to keep it in the fridge if you’re doing it overnight.
The ingredients for these pork chops couldn’t be simpler. And that’s really where the beauty lies. For the marinade, you’ll need a high-quality olive oil, balsamic vinegar, one orange, garlic, fresh rosemary, and sea salt. Combine all of these ingredients in a small bowl and whisk well.
Once combined, pour generously over the pork chops and leave those babies alone until you’re ready to grill.
Once your marinating is complete, it’s time to grill. Preheat the grill to medium high heat. You want to grill these balsamic marinated pork chops until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. This is where having a meat thermometer comes in reallllyyy handy. You can find one at your local grocery store more than likely.
This is a great recipe for an at-home date night with your loved one or your friend or yo’ damn self. It feels “fancy” but it couldn’t be simpler. It also helps you break out of the burger or grilled chicken rut (I’m definitely guilty of falling into that one at different times of my life…)
Serve this up alongside some rice, potatoes, or low carb veggies if you’re keto or generally low carb. You have a complete delicious meal.
