Mushrooms take on new life when slow cooked in olive oil and herbs. Use these to top steaks, add to salads, or even enjoy as a side.
Slow Cooked Mushrooms
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 2 cloves garlic smashed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Put all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook over low heat for 2 hours. Serve immediately, or cool and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
