If you’re looking for a fall side dish that won’t take up oven space, this super flavorful and healthy salad is perfect. Make in advance so the veggies can really soak up the dressing.
Sweetened with molasses, rich in vitamins and minerals, and smothered with heart-healthy extra virgin olive oil, this salad will fill you up and help your body feel its best.
Hearty Fall Salad
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts shredded
- 1 pear cored and diced
- 1 Apple cored and shredded
- 1/2 cup Dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup Toasted almonds
- 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup Red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea salt
Toss the sprouts, pears, apples, cranberries, almonds, and bacon in a large bowl. Put the remaining ingredients in a jar and shake well. Toss with the salad. Chill until ready to serve.
