If you think you hate Brussels sprouts, you’ve probably never broiled them before. These sprouts are the perfect combo of steamed and roasted sprouts — soft and tender, but crisp on top, so they’ll please everyone at the table.
Tossed in olive oil and topped with bacon, these sprouts are loaded down with satiating fats. Brussel sprouts are also rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. Basically, this recipe not only tastes delicious, but it’s good for you too.
Broiled Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Brussels sprouts halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 bacon slices cooked and crumbled
- Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions

Put the sprouts in steamer basket or microwave and steam until just tender. Remove and let cool slightly.

Toss the steamed sprouts with the olive oil and a pinch of salt. Lay on a parchment lined baking sheet, cut side up. Preheat broiler to high heat and broil until tops are well browned.

Toss with the bacon and serve warm.
