Maple is a great flavor year round – let’s be honest. But there’s something about fall that makes me crave this smoky sweet flavor even more than normal.
Adding maple on top of veggies is just one way to take your favorite vegetables to the next level. I love adding these veggies on the side of my favorite chicken or pork recipes. Sometimes I even like to put them into a breakfast scramble. Yum.
The mixture of the Dijon mustard with the maple syrup is perfectly tangy and sweet. It truly hits the spot. This recipe calls for onions, zucchini, and peppers, but you could use any vegetables you like. You can’t go wrong, trust me.
