Kelly Starrett
Kelly Starrett is a coach, physical therapist, author, speaker, and celebrity in the CrossFit world. He’s revolutionizing how athletes think about human movement and athletic performance and helping them to look after their bodies and avoid getting injured.
Kelly Starrett has trained Olympic gold medalists, Tour de France cyclists, CrossFit Games medalists, military staff, and many others. He knows his stuff. And, as one of the first fifty CrossFit affiliates, he’s a big fan of CrossFit.
Starrett specializes in performance-based orthopaedic sports medicine, helping athletes return to elite level sport and performance. He runs MobilityWOD, a website full of tools and advice for overcoming pain, preventing injury, and optimizing athletic performance. MobilityWOD has won numerous awards: number four in Outside Magazine’s Top 10 Fitness Blogs of 2011, Breaking Muscle’s Top 10 Fitness Blogs of 2013, and Health Line’s Top 100 Health Blogs of 2011.
Kelly Starrett is also a teacher. He teaches the CrossFit Movement & Mobility Trainer course and he’s been a guest lecturer at the American Physical Therap Association annual convention, Google, the Perform Better Summit, the Special Operations Medical Association annual conference, police departments, and elite military groups.
