Let’s be honest, everyone loves meatballs. These bite sized appetizers will keep your guests happy while they wait for the main dish. And there are no breadcrumbs required for this Paleo version. They’re healthy, easy to prepare, and delicious.
Holiday Meatball Bites

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground beef
- 1 pound Ground pork
- 1 Onion finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Almond flour
- 2 cups Crushed tomatoes
- Fresh basil for serving
- Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine all of the ingredients except the tomatoes in a large bowl. Mix until just combined.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and form the mixture into 2 inch balls. Dollop each with a teaspoon or two of crushed tomatoes and bake for 20-30 minutes, until browned. Remove from oven and sprinkle with basil.

Insert with toothpicks to make an easy appetizer.
