The caveman diet is another term for the paleo diet. The paleo diet is commonly referred to as the caveman diet due to the fact that, while on the paleo diet, you eat the same foods as caveman did. The paleo diet is also so simple that “a caveman could do it.”

Regardless of the origin of the name, the caveman diet has many of the same principles as the paleo diet. It’s focused primarily on the consumption of higher quantities of real, unprocessed, non-packaged food that cavemen could have eaten thousands of years ago, before Safeway, Walmart, and all of the other mega-super-duper-grocery stores we have available in today’s world came into being. Here are the basics:
Eat
Meat, eggs, vegetables, and limited quantities of fruits and nuts. If it contains fewer than five ingredients, it’s probably “real” food.
Don’t Eat
Grains, dairy, processed foods, and sugars.
A good rule of thumb to ask yourself is “could a caveman eat this?” If it’s packaged in a bag or if it can sit on a shelf for more than a year, it’s probably not on the caveman diet. Sorry!

Is the Caveman Diet Good For You?
Like the paleo diet, the benefits of the caveman diet mostly come from eating unprocessed food. Simply put, if you’re eating real, nutrient-dense food, it’s much easier to stay satiated throughout the day and avoid hunger cravings.
Along with this – on a caveman diet you’re less likely to consume a lot of carbohydrates or sugars, so naturally your body is put into a fat-burning state throughout the day. This also has the added benefit of allowing you to maintain even energy levels consistently throughout the day.

Bananas , mangos , limes , oranges .
Raw Cashews .
Coconut oil.
Are these to be eliminated ?
admin says
ALl the fruits you listed are fine, but watch out for the sugar content in citrus & mangoes.
Cashews are technically legumes (https://paleoguide.wpengine.com/what-are-legumes-paleo/) but still tasty.
Coconut oil is from the gods. Eat up!

Dear people, its a honest depoiment — if you stop eat grains and all derived ”foods”, you will stop to want to eat then. Its crazy but its what happen.
And then you will only want to eat real foods, like the good ol’ caveman lifestyle.
ps: BTW, in Sunday I still eat grains, but its only one time in the week.
Patricia says
how about pasta?
