Ingredients

  • 6 Limes
  • 2 c Spinach
  • 1/2 Cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 8 c Water
  • Stevia (or other sweetener - optional)

Instructions

  1. Using a hand juicer, juice limes in a blender.
  2. Roughly chop spinach and add it to the blender.
  3. Add a few cups of water to the blender, so that everything liquefies easily.
  4. Pour blended juice into a pitcher.
  5. Add remaining cups of water along with thinly sliced cucumber.
  6. Mix well using a long-handled spoon,
  7. If you like pulp, the juice is now ready to be served over ice cubes and garnished with lime or a cucumber wedge. NOTE: This is not the best beverage to serve on date night. Watch out for spinach in your teeth!
  8. For pulp-free juice, allow the limeade to steep in the fridge for about 3 hours before straining.
  9. The juice is quite refreshing without sweetener but if you prefer something sweeter, I recommend keeping the batch unsweetened and adding sweetener to each individual serving.
  10. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Will stay fresh in the fridge for about 3 days.
