Put the hazelnuts in a food processor and process until you have a flour like texture, being careful not to over process.

Add the salt, baking soda, and chopped chocolate to the bowl and pulse until you have a sandy texture.

Add the dates and pulse until well combined, followed by the eggs, coconut oil, and vanilla. You should have a thick, smooth batter by this point.

Spread the batter into a square baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
