This easy to prepare jam has no added sugar, and gets a protein boost from chia seeds. You can use whatever fruit you like here, so feel free to swap the strawberries for another berry or use a mix.

6cupshulled and diced strawberries
1/4cuppitted dates
1tablespoonchia seeds
1tablespoonlemon juice
Instructions
Put all of the ingredients in your slow cooker, cover, and turn on low heat. Cook for 6-8 hours until thickened. Mash with a spoon, let cool and store in a jar in the fridge.
