Slow Cooked Mushrooms

Mushrooms take on new life when slow cooked in olive oil and herbs. Use these to top steaks, add to salads, or even enjoy as a side.

Total Time 2 hours

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook over low heat for 2 hours. Serve immediately, or cool and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
