Basic Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Stew beef
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tbs Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 Stalk of celery (chopped)
  • 2 Carrots (large, chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbs Chili powder
  • 1/2 tbs Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Basil (dried)
  • 1 tsp Oregano (dried)
  • 1 tsp Rosemary (dried)
  • 3 Bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Place the stew beef into a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the broth over the stew beef. Add all other ingredients to the Crock-Pot.
  3. Set the Crock-Pot on low, and cook for 8 − 10 hours. Serve with a side salad of mixed greens and your favorite homemade salad dressing.
