Tasty Lime Chicken Wings

  • 1/2 Onion (medium, very roughly chopped)
  • 2 Jalepeno peppers (ribs and seeds removed)
  • 3 Garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 1/2 c Cilantro (fresh chopped)
  • Freshly ground pepper (to taste)
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 1 c Water
  • 2 lbs Chicken wings and drummies
  • Lime wedges (optional)


  1. Add onion, jalepenos, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper, lime juice, and 1 c of water to blender and blend into a juicy paste.
  2. Place chicken and wings into a one gallon Ziplock bag and cover with marinade from the blender. Use your hands to massage the juicy paste into all crevices of the little chicken parts.
  3. Marinate in the fridge for up to twelve hours but remove from the fridge and allow the wings and drummies to come to room temperature for about thirty minutes before grilling.
  4. Preheat grill to medium and slow cook wings for about fifteen minutes on each side. Adding a dash of olive oil occasionally to the chicken on the grill will bring up the flame slightly and allow for a nice char.
  5. Garnish with lime wedges and a sprinkle of fresh chopped cilantro.
  6. Enjoy!
