Paleo Taco Seasoning & Salad

  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Onion powder


  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 Onion (small, diced)
  • 1/4 Head iceberg lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 Avocado (diced)
  • 1 Tomato (diced)


  1. Combine all the seasonings in a ramekin and mix well. You might consider doubling or tripling the batch and setting the taco seasoning aside in the pantry for future use.
  2. In a large sauté pan, begin sautéing the ground beef on medium.
  3. Add the seasonings to the beef and mix well while browning.
  4. While browning, chop up other ingredients. You might consider creating a self-serve taco bar by placing each ingredient in a small serving bowl and allowing your guests to pick their own ingredients.
  5. Once the beef is done, serve it on top of the iceberg lettuce and garnish it with your desired toppings. No dressing needed!
