Fried Ham and Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 Ham steak
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Ghee (or coconut oil, divided)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • Red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the ham steak and fry on both sides until brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter to the pan you used for the ham and return to the heat. Crack 2 eggs in the pan and fry until they reach the desired level of doneness, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve the fried eggs on top of the ham steak. Sprinkle with red chili flakes (optional) and garnish with fresh parsley.
