Turmeric Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 8 Apples cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Raw honey
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tablespoons Allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions

  1. Put everything in a large stockpot and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 45 minutes and turn down heat to a low simmer.
  2. Simmer for an hour and let cool. Mash apples with a potato masher. Line a large strainer with cheesecloth and strain the mixture until no liquid is left in the apples.
  3. Store in an airtight container; heat in microwave or on stove before serving.
