Put everything in a large stockpot and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 45 minutes and turn down heat to a low simmer.
Simmer for an hour and let cool. Mash apples with a potato masher. Line a large strainer with cheesecloth and strain the mixture until no liquid is left in the apples.
Store in an airtight container; heat in microwave or on stove before serving.
