Sweet Potato Pancakes with Bacon
I’ve realized that one cannot go wrong with pancakes for breakfast… or for any other meal for that matter. There are so many different types: low- or high-carb, high in protein, fruity, chocolate, savory, nut butter, and plain but NEVER boring.
A blender is not absolutely necessary to make these but I prefer using one to ensure that the batter is smooth. Using a blender also adds extra air into the batter, which makes it nice and fluffy!
Instead of topping the pancakes with a sugary syrup, opt for a couple of strips of crumbled bacon to make yourself a savory and lower carb treat. Crunchy bacon is delicious compliment to the ...

Paleo Banana Pancakes
This recipe is for the most delicious paleo banana pancakes we've ever eaten! Scroll down to see how to make them.
Paleo pancakes are a wonderful way to start off a Saturday morning. Ripe bananas provide a delicious base for this recipe. Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips into the batter if that’s your kind of thing. Pour only a small amount of batter into the skillet at a time because smaller pancakes will be easier to flip over. Make a big stack and top with blueberry syrup for a decadent breakfast.

Cellucor Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Waffles
L'eggo my Eggo! You’ve probably sworn off this dessert-like breakfast because it's normally packed full of carbs and sugar (and even topped with more sugar) and made with white bleached flour. Restaurant-style and freezer-varieties of waffles (Eggos) are usually a black hole of calories and sugar and they lack any nutritional value.
Finally, here we have a high-protein, low-carb recipe for guilt-free waffles. Now your can stop drooling over those #foodporn photos you see on Pinterest and have some for yourself.

In this recipe the sweet potatoes are tossed with chilli powder and cayenne to make them spicy. The cooking time differs with every oven, so keep a close eye on the fries while they are baking. Apple Cider Butter Dressing
Don’t let the name fool you. There is NO butter in this dressing. Well, no animal butter at least. The butter I am talking about comes from sesame seeds (tahini) and sunflower seeds. But “Apple Cider Sesame Seed and Sunflower Seed Butter Salad Dressing” wasn’t such a catchy title.
There is no need to add any oil when you use these butters. That’s a bonus in my book. This was the first time I'd ever bought tahini and sunflower seed butter, but I’m pleased with the idea and final product.
I think I might also try this as a sauce on my tilapia, as it will mask the fishy taste. I’ll let you know how that turns out. In the mean time, I will ...
