Paleo Burgers With Honey BBQ Sauce
What is better than juicy paleo burgers, I ask you? I would say nothing, until you add this amazing homemade BBQ sauce to the mix. It takes this burger from average to extraordinary. It’s a recipe you will want to add to your regular routine and for special events like summer cookouts with friends and family.
To add a little excitement to the regular beef burgers, this recipe uses delicious honey and balsamic vinegar to create the homemade Honey BBQ sauce.
The ingredients for the Honey BBQ sauce are boiled and then reduced together in a saucepan. The BBQ sauce is slow cooked and takes a little while to come together, but it is worth the wait because once you smother it on top of your juicy fresh ground beef burger, you’ll know why! The slow cooking method for the sauce helps the vinegar transform from a sharp tangy taste to a sweet, smoky taste.
The beef for the burgers is combined with a mixture of savory flavors including onion, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. The pairing of the savory burgers with the sweet sauce is a guaranteed hit for your next cookout.
As a side note, keep a watchful eye as the sauce simmers on the stove, so that it does not thicken too much to the point of burning. Other than that, you only have to heat up the grill to cook the burgers. A straightforward and easy recipe that will be a summertime favorite and will have everyone licking their lips!
