A few weeks ago, I was posting about my morning routine on my Facebook page and mentioned my morning "mocha". People seemed to really be into the recipe, so I wanted to be sure to share it with you as well.
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Vic's Morning Mocha
4 cups strong black coffee made with 2 tbs of regular and 2 tbs of decaf. I don't think there is anything wrong with full-caffeinated, I'm just very susceptible to
caffeine.

Veggie and Egg White Breakfast Wrap
Breakfast: my favorite meal of the day. Eggs and vegetables are a staple of my breakfasts and I am always looking for new ways to reinvent them.
Between prepping my family's food for the day, taking care of the dog, and getting myself around, the mornings can be rather hectic. To make my mornings more efficient, I rely on frozen vegetables. At any given time, we have frozen diced onions and various colors of bell peppers available in Ziplock bags in our freezer. This speeds up the morning assembly line and leaves fewer dirty dishes from food prep (my favorite part!).
These Veggie and Egg White Breakfast Wraps are quick and easy - just be ...

Hulk Pancakes
HULK SMASH (these pancakes)!!! I’ve said it before, but I always try to find sneaky ways to fit vegetables into all of my meals. The banana and vanilla in this recipe not only mask the taste of the spinach, but they also add a delicious flavor. My bit of advice is to be extra delicate when flipping these pancakes. Since spinach isn’t the best binder and it releases its moisture when cooked, I tend to let the Hulk Pancakes cook a little longer than normal pancakes.
Why spinach? Well Popeye knew a thing or two about this nutrient-rich leafy green. Here are a few reasons why I love spinach:
A cup and a half of spinach (about the amount I use ...

5 Lessons I Learned At Paleo f(x) 2014
I spent last weekend at Paleo f(x) - the largest gathering of paleo(sos) anywhere in the world - in one of my favorite cities in the world - Austin, Texas.
Paleo f(x) was a 3-day blur of some of the brightest minds in paleo, sharing brand new paleo research, training, recipes, and products throughout the conference space.
Here Are 5 Things I Learned at Paleo f(x) in 2014
1) Paleo Is Growing
I was at Paleo f(x) in 2012 (the very first one!) and it was just starting to grow.
The panels were small and the "expo" consisted of about seven or eight booths. There weren't that many people either. Either Robb or Mark quipped that all of the ...

What Is MovNat?
What is MovNat?
Eating healthy food is just one aspect of healthy living. The true paleo lifestyle includes a number of other things: getting enough sleep, doing plenty of exercise, and drinking lots of water.
Just as it can be difficult to work out which diet works best for you, there are plenty of exercise options to choose from. We've already discussed CrossFit as a fairly paleo way of working out, and in this article we consider another form of exercise which focuses on natural movement, MovNat.
Interview with Founder of MovNat, Erwan Le Corre
